Cllr. Reginald Pheiffer is the Mayoral Committee Member (MMC) responsible for Infrastructure in the Stellenbosch Municipality, representing Ward 1 for the Democratic Alliance. Appointed to this portfolio in early December 2024 by Executive Mayor Jeremy Fasser, he oversees the planning, delivery, and maintenance of critical municipal infrastructure—ranging from roads and stormwater systems to waste management facilities. Recently, on 25 February 2025, MMC Pheiffer visited Cloetesville with the Parks & Open Spaces MMC to combat illegal dumping and advance local beautification projects, underscoring his commitment to sustainable and community-focused infrastructure development
